
Weekly Fresh Bread
The Co-op receives freshly baked, local bread every Thursday and Friday, just in time for the weekend! We feature two local bakeries: Sunnyfield Brick Oven Bakery (Wonalancet, NH) and Early to Rise Bakery (Center Barnstead, NH).

Thursday is Sunnyfield Day at the Co-op

Sunnyfield provides the lakes and mountain regions of NH with wholesome, sustainable and tasty bread. Breads are mixed by hand using regional flour and house milled-grain. Loaves rise slowly with sourdough, and they are baked on the hearth of a wood fired oven.

Friday is Early to Rise day at the Co-op

Early to Rise is a micro bakery specializing in sourdough products using what is called sourdough starter as the sole leavening agent. No commercial yeasts are used. Simply put, “starter” is a naturally fermenting mixture of flour and water that is developed over time. This is then used to create the sourdough texture and flavor that bread lovers crave.

Bread is delivered fresh from Early to Rise every Friday. We offer sandwich loaves, English Muffins and beautiful boules.
