Volunteer Opportunities

At the center of any successful co-op you will find an army of member volunteers. Volunteers reduce the cost of operations and thrive by being at the center of something wonderful.  Our co-op is no different.  â€‹

We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Whether you have 1 hour to give each month or are looking for significant involvement, check out how you can make the Co-op better. Some of our volunteer needs are listed below. Stop in and talk with a team member to find out how you can help.

  • Help the Co-op with its bulk merchandising.  This is an in-store opportunity with a maximum weekly time commitment of 2 hours. As a volunteer, you will help to restock our bulk foods section and to repackage selected bulk items from large bags into smaller saleable bags or pouches.

  • Tell Us How You Can Help. Devise your own volunteer role. Perhaps you love photography? We can always use help photographing new products for our marketing team. Perhaps you  have an eye for merchandising? We would love your help to create amazing in-store displays. Talk with one of our team members about your special skills, and we can design a volunteer position customized to you.

Volunteer Needs

Social Event
  • Lend a hand with our in-store events  While COVID put a temporary stop to our in-store events, we expect to resume these activities in the near future. From educational discussions, to food tastings, we plan to host a series of informative events for our members and local community. If you would like to assist us with event planning and day-of event execution, please talk to one of our team members.

Sanitizing Surfaces
  • Are you a neat freak? We would welcome a volunteer to assist with light cleaning. Weekly time commitment is a maximum of two hours, and you would assist with dusting of shelving, sweeping, cleaning spoons and funnels for our bulk section, and other cleaning needs identified by our in-store team.
