The Co-op's Register Round-Up program is one of the many ways the Co-op supports our local community. Since last August, our Round-up program has benefited Wolfeboro Area Meals on Wheels (WAMOW), and we will continue to support WAMOW in 2026.
Next time you shop at the Co-op, please remember at checkout that you have the opportunity to round-up your grocery purchase to the nearest dollar, donating the balance in support of WAMOW.
WAMOW was founded in the early 1970's by physicians and other professionals at Huggins Hospital who saw a need in the community to serve individuals who were unable to secure and prepare food. Did you know:
WAMOW prepares, packages, and delivers over 15,000 meals across Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, and Brookfield every year.
For 50 years, WAMOW has proudly operated solely on donor support; WAMOW does not receive any federal or state funding.
Home delivered meals are one of first services accessed by older adults, allowing them to remain independently living in their homes.
If you Round-up on your next shopping trip, WAMOW and the seniors in our community extend their thanks!
